RAK Municipality (Public Health and Safety Department) organized a distinguished event on the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Day. The Department distributed Ramadan Sup- plies to Municipality workers and assistance personnel.
This initiative was provided jointly with UAE Food Bank. The distribution of such Ramadan supplies, which included basic food items, reflected appreciation and grateful to the workers’ efforts pay in community service.
Manager of Public Health Department ex- pressed pleasure at organizing such event which reflects the values of tolerance and giving which Sheikh Zayed “may Allah have mercy upon him” instilled in the people of UAE.
He also reaffirmed that the initiative comes under the Municipality’s social responsibilities to promote the cooperation and cohesion in the community particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
