His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the RAK Crown Prince, directed the organizing of nine mass weddings over this year. One mass wedding shall be held monthly at Al Bayt Mitwahid Hall at Adhen in Ras Al Khaimah from Asr till Maghreb Prayers. This direction comes in conjunction with the directions of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan the UAE President “may Allah Protect him” on declaring 2025 as the Year of Community.
Organizing mass weddings is a significant step towards the mitigation of marriage cost to achieve stability and family happiness. It is also part of the keenness to encouraging male and female youth since it is a UAE inherited and rooted approach. The mass wedding also has a direct contribution to supporting the community’s harmony and coherence as well as reflecting the unity and cooperation in the nation.
