His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah has ordered the release of 506 inmates of RAK punitive and correctional establishments, who are serving varying sentences under RAK Courts orders, ahead of the Holy Ramadan.
As a royal grant on the occasion of the holy month, His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah shall pay all financial payments according to the related court rulings. Such benevolence reflects the interest paid by His Highness to alleviate their families’ suffering, reunite them with their families and relatives, and give the released an opportunity to get a fresh start in life and.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, instructed to take the necessary actions to implement the orders of His High- ness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah on releasing the pardoned inmates of the punitive and correctional establishments in Ras Al Khaimah, before the holly month, in coordination with RAK Police General Headquarter.
His Excellency Chancellor Hassan Saied Mhimed, Attorney General of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah emphasized that the benevolence of His Highness by re- leasing some sentenced is driven by the keenness of H.H to give the released another opportunity to reintegrate in the society and give pleasure to their families in such holly month.
The Attorney General thanked His Highness Sheikh Saud for his Sovereign Ordinance that brought joy and happiness to the families who are waiting for their sons. He also thanked His Highness the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, for the continuous follow-up of the prosecutorial and judicial authorities in Ras Al Khaimah.
